This page is a container for the following pages related to Tools.

Old Tools Table - A report built from the "Tools Table" database. It lists all the tools in the database. It is retained here as an archive of what the Tools table looked like at the point in time when it was ended and replaced by the Tools Library in SPAN.
Tools Table - A database (using scaffolding plugin) of tools and where they have been used. This was determined to be too difficult to maintain in 2021. The "Tools Table" report was replaced by the "Tools Table Statement".
Tools Table Statement - a statement marking the end of the Tools Table in SWEHB and redirecting users to the Tools Library in SPAN where a list of tools and who is using them will be maintained by others.

Usage of Tools Stable Statement

The basic Tools Table Statement is stored in the SITE space here: Tools Table Statement.

Each SWEHB space has a page for Tools Table and a Tools Table Statement under it. Some use the SITE:Tools Table Statement. Others use an old User Macro that contains the appropriate statement.

Future versions of the SWEHB will probably use the method from SWEHBVD to manage Tools Table section of Resources.

SWEHBVD

The Tools Table Statement contains an Info box and an Include Page macro that gets the Tools Table Statement from SITE space. All SWEs and Topics that refer to the Tools table see only the appropriate Tools Table Statement and not the actual old tools table.

SWEHBVC

The Tools Table Statement contains an Info box and an Include Page macro that gets the Tools Table Statement from SITE space. All SWEs and Topics that refer to the Tools table see only the appropriate Tools Table Statement and not the actual old tools table.

SWEHBVB

The Tools Table in this space contains a info macro and an include-page macro for the "Tools Table Statement" in SITE space.

The SWEs and Topics with a Tools Table section under Resources point to an old user macro called "toolstable" in Wiki Markup that is no longer being maintained.
