2. Branch And Merge
This process was developed to facilitate making changes to pages in the Production version of the SWEHB. Small changes like spelling and formatting are done as necessary with little or no announcements. Larger changes like the development of a new page (SWE or Topic) may need to have a development page (where the page is put together) in the same space as the existing page with old content. The SWEHBDOC Branch and Merge Process documents how the process works and explains how the old and the new co-exist and how the new content is put into the existing page in a seamless fashion after it is approved for release.
